My Favorite Parade
Macys.com is one of my favorite shopping destinations all year round, and especially after Thanksgiving because of the traditional Thanksgiving Day parade that I love to watch on television because it gets me into the holiday spirit and shopping mood. Someday I dream of taking my family to New York for Thanksgiving and watching the parade in person with my daughter. She gets excited every time we go through the supermarket checkout stand because there are so many balloons in different shapes and sizes. I can only imagine her reaction when she sees the Macy’s signature larger-than-life helium character balloons in the parade.
I start with the web buster specials and then check out the latest Martha Stewart collection and the holiday lane offers. I also tend to do a lot of shopping for my family in the “for the home” and “bed and bath sections.” Inevitably, I end up wandering into the shopping for “me” sections looking for more handbags, shoes and jewelry to coordinate.
